REVIEW
Old Henry is a Western where a quiet father and his son take in a wounded man with a bag of cash who claims to be a lawman. It’s an interesting premise that slowly unfolds with a focus on the father and son relationship, and the isolation that they survive in. It’s a decent presentation of the story of a stranger entering the lives of the main characters who are a combination of a world-weary father and a youthful curious son. This is a time and era where the characters had little to say but it really meant something when they did speak or act. The opening chase scenes will grab the viewer's attention and thereafter it’s a subtle slow-burn to build the story until the main characters interact with their wounded guests and the story begins to develop at pace from that point.
