REVIEW
All Of Us Are Dead on Netflix is a Korean Zombie Horror where a group of students must survive a ground zero Zombie outbreak in their school.
If you are a fan of Train 2 Busan and similar Korean Zombie storytelling, this will be more of the same and it’s extremely satisfying.
All Of Us Are Dead manages to pack classroom politics and hierarchy and commentary on Korean society into a series of flesh-eating monsters that focuses just as much on the human element.
Korean films and TV series are known for taking a retrospective look at society and All Of Us Are Dead is no different.
What’s also interesting as the series progresses is that there is are hybrid asymptomatic characters as well as Zombies and Humans which breathes new life into the Zombie genre.
As the episodes move on, we see the relationships between the teenagers who have survived, there’s bullying as well as bonding.
All Of Us Are Dead can be a heart-wrenching watch at times, to see the loss the survivors go through, or the levels of gore the Zombies can inflict.
Perhaps All Of Us Are Dead is a reflection on the Covid 19 epidemic, which does get a mention, but it’s fantastic, compelling and engaging viewing in its own right.
