Another Round is a Danish 2020 comedy-drama starring Mads Mikkelsen as one of four teachers who are bored with the run of the mill approach of life so decide to consume alcohol to make teaching their lessons more interesting. The film offers up the idea that the characters find binge drinking the answer to seeing life in a more exciting manner. Take away from this what you will as a viewer. The characters feel like real people living real lives and learning to look at their lot in life through new means. The simplicity of the story is what really works here.
