Bird Box Barcelona (Netflix)

Birdbox Barcelona is a 2023 Netflix film which is a follow up to Birdbox featuring Sandra Bullock. In essence the story follows the make up of A Quiet Place, about how a creature can cause harm in this case if seen by humans, whereas in A Quiet Place and noises made attached the creatures. The action and setting has moved to Barcelona, where main characters Sebastian encounters ragtag groups of survivors, and the theme is very much how those who see the creatures respond - if it’s a blessing or a curse. The film has a few main themes religious belief and trauma being two of them, and overall it makes for a watchable if not ground breaking affair.
