REVIEW
Blood Brothers - Malcolm X and Muhammad Ali is a 2021 film on Netflix detailing the friendship and its decline of two prolific figures of the 20th Century, Malcolm X and Muhammad Ali. It’s informative and engaging looking into how these two men affected the world around them and each other, both were larger than life individuals who challenged the status quo and shook things up. Both men weren’t afraid to stand up to the powers that be, ultimately Malcolm X pays the price for speaking out and challenging those around him. A lot of insider knowledge gives the viewer a perspective on the situation between these two icons, and the tangled humanity within their interpersonal relationship. This is a work of nonfiction that really opens up the human side of a relationship between two great pioneers of the human experience.
