The long-awaited – return for Dexter: New Blood (Sky Atlantic) is finally here, and his 'Dark Passenger' is back too! After 10 years of dormancy. Yes, from his small-town retreat Morgan Dexter gives in to temptation once more. Triggered by a deserving victim as his code dictates,
Dexter seems on course to unravel his safe and banal routine and reawaken the Dexter of old. This series seems to be back on form thanks to original showrunner Clyde Phillips. A lot of threads seeded already in this episode, as inevitable Dexter is haunted by ghosts of his past, (and visited by dead and not so dead visitors-no spoilers.) Balancing home life against his primal urges is always riveting to watch. Welcome back, Mr Morgan.
