Fubar follows a CIA agent on the brink of retirement, Luke Brunner (Schwarzenegger), who is coerced into assisting a fellow agent. However, the situation is complicated as the said agent is his own daughter Emma (Monica Barbaro), and their paths cross while working clandestinely.Both though are working undercover for drugs and arms Lord Gabriel Luna
Boro Polonia (Gabriel Luna) who swears revenge on both of them, while handling this situation ,both Father and Daughter must work out their long running family relationship troubles. For such a well dated premise it begins to feel like a homages to Schwarzenegger’s back catalogue of movies but as a pure family comedy. Presenting itself as a ‘True Lies’ tv show ,actively asking you to push through the clichés and cringe-inducing jokes. Together with a stereotypical supporting cast of comic relief, to just go with it. As the series progresses though it becomes more family situation comedy than a credible spy series, and works for the casual viewer as a light breezy show, best enjoyed as a binge easy eight part series , it's purely a non taxing and forgettable show. But there does comes a warmth from Schwarzenegger as the softie dad role, wanting his family just to get along who just happens to have a particular set of lethal skills.
