REVIEW
In John Wick: Chapter 4 takes Wick (Keanu Reeves) ,now relentlessly chased by assassins ordered by a secretive group called the High Table, on a quest to regain his freedom from the crime underworld . He soon realizes that he can only attain liberty if he challenges the syndicate's Marquis de Gramont (portrayed by Skarsgård) to a showdown. However, evading the ever-increasing price on his life proves to be an arduous task. John Wick: Chapter 4 takes us on a whirlwind tour across multiple countries, introducing us to an array of friends and foes along the way.  Reeves manages to captivate his audience through his endless natural charm. This is exactly what the series demands and he delivers it perfectly . Highlights include the set pieces and the talented supporting cast this series is populated with, including the new additions such as Donnie Yen's performance as the blind hitman Caine. And set pieces; an awe-inspiring battle amidst fast-moving cars circling the Arc de Triomphe ,and a great set piece up the famous 220 stairs of the Sacré Coeur. With regards to plot  The 'High Table' remains elusive and intangible, and its representation in this film is even more vague. Laurence Fishburne and Ian McShane's previously established roles as simplistic character types are reduced even further. The events that unfold should be significant, but fail to evoke strong emotions from the audience. And just falls shy of a successful attempt at creating an emotional impact. It goes so overboard sometime,  with assassins persistently pop up from every direction, and a runtime that is maybe too overlong for this genre. But what it does well it does very well. All in all, 'John Wick: Chapter 4 -  is still worth checking out for its impressive fight scenes and stunning visuals. Part Travelogue , part Art House grind, sometimes a movie is just meant to be enjoyed for what it is, flaws and all. And in that regard, 'John Wick: Chapter 4' definitely delivers.

John Wick: Chapter 4 catches up where we left , where,Wick (Keanu Reeves) ,is  now  relentlessly chased by assassins ordered by a secretive group called the High Table. He soon realizes that he can only attain liberty if he challenges the syndicate’s Marquis de Gramont (portrayed by Skarsgård) to a showdown. However, evading the ever-increasing price on his life proves to be an arduous task. Highlights include the set pieces and the talented supporting cast this series is populated with, including the new additions such as Donnie Yen’s performance as the blind hitman Caine. And  an awe-inspiring battle amidst fast-moving cars circling the Arc de Triomphe ,and a climatic climb up the stairs of Montmartre  to the Sacre-Coeur. With regards to plot  The ‘High Table’ remains elusive and intangible, and its representation in this film is even more vague. Laurence Fishburne and Ian McShane’s previously established roles as simplistic character types are reduced even further. All in all, ‘John Wick: Chapter 4 –  is still worth checking out for its impressive fight scenes and stunning visuals.  The John wick movies have now become part , art house, part travelogue, and all shot beautifully.Sometimes a movie is just meant to be enjoyed for what it is, flaws and all. And in that regard, ‘John Wick: Chapter 4‘ definitely delivers.
