Kill Boksoon

Kill Boksoon is a 2023 South Korean action flick which combines storytelling and action set pieces from Kill Bill, John Wick and Jason Bourne. Our main character is Gill Boksoon a woman balancing a life as an assassin and another as a single mother. It’s a lengthy affair but when the action set pieces do take place they are easily as good as anything displayed on the big screen. Sometimes the action can be confusing, particularly when Gill Boksoon is playing out an assignment, or more specifically a kill mentally before the events happen. The start is very watchable, but ironically this film could probably do with more action scenes and pacing to match, as some of the character development can be slow at times.
