REVIEW
Minari is the story of a Korean family who moves to Arkansas to pursue their version of the American dream. They discover the meaning of family and resilience. This really is a lovely charming film with so many warm watchable moments between the interactions with each family member. The different cultures and fish out of water scenario works so well to drive the story along. The draw is completely in the relationships observed between family and how they endure. Just when all seems lost, Minari plants flower to become the saving grace of the situation.
