NIGHTRIDE

Nightride is a mystery adventure film set on the roads of Belfast when a small-time criminal Budge tries to pull off a drug deal with money he borrowed from a dangerous loan shark. The money he will earn is for his plans to go straight, however, it doesn’t go to plan and our main character Budge has to pick up the pieces. The tension and fly by the seat of the pants nature of the story really help capture and captivate the viewer. A film this remindS you of Wheelman starring Frank Grillo, but this seems more grounded than that American counterpart somehow. An interesting race against time and fate story told in real-time.
