Our Souls At Night

Our Souls At Night is a romantic drama film. Robert Redford and Jane Fonda as Louise and Addie, a widower and widow who are neighbours and who are both elderly, lonely, and decide to get to know one another by having sleepovers that become romantic in nature. It’s a charming light-hearted feel-good film exploring the sweet nature of elderly people, enjoying each other’s company which blossoms into something more, there are a few deeper moments, in particular the relationship between Addie and her son, when Louise is talking about his past marriage to Addie, but overall it’s sweet cheery and likeable. Both stars are a joy to watch on screen and you just want to give them a cuddle at times they are so cute together.
