REVIEW
It's what fans of this franchise, have been waiting for a long time; to actually see on film what befell this Star Wars favourite title character. And they are served with flashbacks aplenty( perhaps to a fault on this premiere). It really doesn't pack a debut punch as the previous franchise series entries such as 'The Mandalorian '. The pacing of the show is a more leisurely one to be sure. A surprising step for such a short 38-minute runtime episode premiere. Concentrating on formative experiences and flashbacks, at the expense of the present plot dynamics and a little too much, probably hinders it. Considering the breakneck pace of Worldbuilding we are used to in previous Star Wars entries. But it would be foolhardy to dismiss 'The Book of Boba Fett' just yet, based on this casual opening salvo. The production designs are top-notch as always though. There is a fine and proven production crew behind this series. So with the stroll down Fett's memory lane out of the way, subsequent Episodes may prove much more promising with things to come, and I'm sure some jaw-dropping surprises along the way. Roll on Episode two...
