Chapter Six — ‘From the Desert comes a Stranger’ Where Bruce Dallas Howard delivered the Mandolorian touch down on this series. Dave Filoni takes and ball and runs with it. In an episode that sticks with the Mandolorian Din Djarin's arc we are given what proves to be one of the biggest fan-pleasing episodes yet in Disney's Star Wars tenure.Boba Fett seems to have served as a framing device for Din's Story, so now Din serves to present fan favourites from his series, the animated shows, and of course the original Movies. It's like a Star Wars Holiday Special. But a great one! Here is a plot spoiler summary sentence all Star Wars fans could only have dreamt about until now... Djarin flies to a forested world to visit Grogu, and is greeted by R2-D2 and Ahsoka Tano. Tano convinces Djarin that his presence distracts the youngling. Now under the tutelage of Jedi Master Luke Skywalker, his first student, to use the Force. To put it simply, imagine Filoni and series writer Jon Favreau serving up a Star Wars Ice cream with scoops of all their favourite flavours, balanced on one cone, with all the toppings! The only thing that hangs in the air, are the pangs of guilt as we help ourselves to a dream dessert under someone else's roof. ( namely Boba Fett's series airtime) which could have used the time to develop Fett naturally, instead of shoehorned back beats to fill in his character arc). But at this point now in the series, it can't be helped. And ask any fan if they would give those last episodes back... Hell no! Perhaps it's just the misnomer of the series title .'Star Wars Tales' would be more fitting. This only leaves the series finale, for Boba Fett's to deliver this book's climax with the final chapter.
