REVIEW
In an effort to exonerate his father and halt his mother's death, Barry Allen (played by Ezra Miller) - also known as The Flash - embarks on a journey through time. However, his actions set off a series of events that result in him changing the time line for the worse, as well as meeting his younger self ,but also and maybe triggering the destruction of all interconnected Multiverses
The major highlights of the film is Miller as a comedy duo affording the opportunity to assign both comical aspects of the role as well as allowing the original Barry to develop into a more mature character The majority of the film features Miller in both roles that work as he and younger Barry tackles the challenges of discovering his powers.
They are also joined by Michael Keaton as Batman of the (1989) movie, accompanied with Danny Elfman's signature theme).Keaton effortlessly slips back into the role of Batman proving a delightful foil to Miller’s performance.
Also joining them is Sasha Calle as Supergirl to completes the Super team line up as they all join up to fight an unchallenged General Zod ( Michael Shannon) in this new timeline .Despite Calle’s shorter screen time adds enough screen presence to be impressive in her own right when on.
However it is a film with a combination of both impressive and disappointing elements. With some of the digital special effects being a hit-and-miss experience at times. But the overall the focal point is commendably on the main cast , who make this and enjoyable superhero movie, and handles concepts of multi -verses in a relatable fashion.
The Flash is a superhero film will serve as a great showcase and farewell to the current DC era on films and TV with cameos a plenty, from past and present that will please a wide spread of fans.
