Steven Yeun and Ali Wong star in A24’s latest comedic drama, where they engage in an extended road-rage conflict. Titled ‘Beef’, the series unfolds a tremendous rivalry at a hardware store parking lot between two characters, Danny (played by Yeun) and Amy (played by Wong), who both happen to cross paths at their lowest. As he strives to ensure financial security for his domestic and overseas household, his partner is overwhelmed with the burdens of her job, her in-laws, and her unattainable expectations. Although they narrowly avoid a collision, the close call provides them with ample justification to release control and allow pandemonium to govern their lives.
