Yaksha Ruthless Operations

Yaksha Ruthless Operations is a 2022 Spy action film from South Korea. The film in essence follows a South Korean prosecutor who ends up investing a black ops team based in China and the deadly war they are involved in. There’s plenty of action and a very detailed plot to follow which requires the viewer's attention. The cinematography is beautiful and there’s plenty that’s a visual treat here from the night lit city action. The good guys commit as many dirty offences as the bad ones just to play by the same rule book, and it’s often difficult to separate the good guys from the bad guys at times. Plenty of old grudges, torture, and tense and gripping fast-paced gunfights are all on show here in a film that doesn’t reinvent the genre but instead plays to its strengths.
