The Last House follows the Delgado family—Ann, Jason, Ruth, and Graham—who find themselves trapped in their home by an unnatural rain sealing their doors and windows. Initially, the family tries to stay calm, seeking joy in small aspects of life during their confinement, reminiscent of pandemic experiences. Despite the capable performances from Greta Lee and Wagner Moura, the film doesn’t capitalize on their talent, suffering from clichéd dialogue and a lack of depth in its script.
